Well, apparently I get to open up for the Dex Romweber Duo in two weeks (ex-Flat Duo Jets)!!!
This is really exciting for me, being as he is a hero of mine. Should be awesome!
Things have been super stressful as of late with work, moving, music, money, etc. Basically life, but we'll work through it. When I say we I mean Meg (my wife) and myself. No, I'm not crazy enough to start referring to myself as "we" just yet.
Anyways, here are some cool videos I found on YouTube:
The video on this is kind of shaky, but it's worth watching - The Cramps live at Napa State Mental Hospital
Here is a cool live video of Flat Duo Jets I stumbled on. If I'm right, they're playing on the steps of city hall in Athens, GA. Bad. Ass.
Well, that's about all I suppose. I have a lot of new music in the work with Cara del Gato and I'm contemplating recording more Hey Gravedigger, so keep checking into that (if anyone even reads this shit.)

Yard Pissing
I have an office job, which I hate. It's not the work that bothers me, really, it's just the being inside all of the damn day. I'm a Florida boy, dammit. I was raised outside.
I learned how to play outside, I learned how to piss outside, and I learned how to entertain myself with absolutely nothing outside. Meh.
Anyways, here is some music for everybody:
Elam McKnight - This guy is from Tennessee and DEFINITELY has it goin' on. I got a friend request from him today on the Myspace and I normally don't accept bands, but I gave him a listen and was pleasantly surprised by what I heard. His page claims that he is the next blues legend, which I don't quite agree with, but he could definitely be the next big thing on Fat Possum. I would post an mp3, but he doesn't have any for download, so check out his page.
The next thing I've got for you guys is a blues track from waaaay back. It's by the little known artist Nellie Florence. Apparently, she only ever recorded two tracks and was never really heard from again. That's a sad thing, too, because her music was awesome if this track is any indicator. So, I bring to you, one of two tracks ever recorded by Ms.Florence:

New Skin
It's been a hell of a while since I did any blogging.
I had a semi-serious blog during my high school years, which in retrospect is pretty ridiculous. A lot of "heartbroken" entries regarding shoot downs, throw downs, shut outs, and black outs, but such was life at that point in time. I was all about girls and punk rock. Now that I say that, I guess not much has changed, except that now I'm all about a girl (my wife, Meg) and instead of just gnawing on the punk rock I'm a little more open to just hearing music in general.
With that being said, I'll make it clear: This won't be solely a music blog. This is my personal blog, which I will also post music, art, movies, and a lot of things I'm into that I would like other people to give a chance.
Anyways, to kick things off I chose a song I haven't heard in a while:
"Maria is a Werewolf" - O'Haste Annihilation
This band played in Gainesville for a while, but now I think they have moved on (to another state, not dead.) I just recently picked up a full length of their's from Wayward Council (local store) and it's pretty kickin'. Check out the track and hunt these guys down!
